Okay, here's the problem. Basically, my 1200 has been sitting in my parent's house for several months (hooked up to their stereo system). Nobody has touched it in the meantime. It has not even been turned on in that time (yes, a crime I know, I know...but right now I have no stereo!) Recently I returned to the parentals with a bag of rekkids. When I tried using it, the platter started spinning at an incredible speed (way faster than 45). Basically, it moves so fast that records cannot be played on this turntable (the needle gets shaken off). It moved at this speed regardless of fiddling with pitch and speed. Any clues as to what the hell is wrong? Hm...I suppose I can put on some Barry White albums on it and get some freaky psuedo drill n' bass action going...Thanks in advance for advice. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Get more from the Web.
