SoundJam seems to have some weird incompatibilities with other (non mac) encoding apps, especially for VBR encodes (encotions?). If it plays, then don't worry about it. What bugs me is if I encode stuff in sound jam, then the ID3 tags don't show up in winamp. -Gil ahh, it would be encodings On Fri, 8 Dec 2000, jeremy axon wrote:

I don't seem to be able to see the ID3 information if I play back through Xing. Any ideas how to get to it from there? Wierd. I haven't seen that one yet. wanna send me the MP3 in question? Like Gil said, if it plays, no problem, but in you're picky like me, try reencoding it with SoundJam converter, using a hig bitrate, like 192 or above.

That's what i figured. the info window says its a 0 Kbps VBR joint stereo mp3, the playlist says its bitrate is unknown... but it plays just fine. -- - Jeremy khfsaklhfSPGDooo --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
