I know that this has been said before but if you ask I can repeat, though I really do not keep the grudge against them as of now... When I ordered from them and did not get the package they refused to help me in finding it and stopped responding to my angry mails. I still miss that package (4CDs) For comparison, I had one similar problem with Amazon package (3CDs) which was resolved by Amazon stuff in most fantastical way (they simply sent me those CDs once more by DHL immediately when I reported the original package missing and asked just for postal info to start search...). so please beware. I have to admit though, that when I first reported it on the list a year ago everyone started to defend Bent crayon and labelled me as the one who did wrong...(I still wonder how I possibly could) 8))) Alien ps. I have nothing against bent crayon now as I'm sure it was not their fault and they're not big enough to resolve such issues in the way Amazon does.

i had a similar Bent Crayon experience that was just as bad. if customer service isn't your top priority then i won't be spending my money at your store. i switched to Skimo instead. They stock the same stuff and PJ is very nice and accomodating especially with customer service. Another great place is EarRational. Dave is very nice and gives you about twice weekly updates on the status of your order. Im sure Bent Crayon is fine if you never run into a problem or discrepancy - but be forewarned - you might end up really pissed if something is late or lost and they refuse to deal with it in a businesslike manner. shimone/justes http://www.staticbeats.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Konstantin Minko" <ibss@ukrpack.net> To: <idm@hyperreal.org>; <wells@submute.net> Sent: Sunday, December 03, 2000 7:38 AM Subject: RE: [idm] bentcrayon

for me: S://kimo. PJ has provided the best service by far. has always been responsive on email (even when his bulk mailer went haywire and sent me ~10 copies of a couple of lists =) great listing of new releases and just added a bunch of techno/house to his stock list. only dissappointment is not much back stock available. but overall. the best. FE. i did distro through them for a while. really good backstock. kinda slow on responsiveness. great listing everyweek. Bentcrayon. i ordered through him a long time ago...great customer service...IF a)regular customer b)credit card user. great listing and good backstock..even though the website sucks hard. it lists old shit that hasnt been updated to show current stock available. usually my lists were trimmed down from 15 records to 4. otherwise...new customers get poor service (my friend/co-worker has been waiting about 6 weeks to hear back from john *shrug* guess he isnt getting the order). back 2 werk -m

I've had problems with stuff i've ordered not being delivered from both bent crayon & skimo, and after reporting the problem both said they would try to work it out, but never did. I've only dealt with Forced Exposure once so far, but i like that they insure all their shipments so if their is a problem, the carrier can take care of the problem.
