Got mp3's of it off Napster. Lots of very abstract, DSP intensive, beatless tracks as well as some typical Devine rhythmic etudes. Curious to see how IDMers will react to it. I think Warp's releasing it early next year or something. The only surprising track is the one beatless one, which I think would really benefit from not being encoded with mp3. The other two tracks are, well, just what we would expect. When will the novelty of his style wear out? My faves of his are still the "Lily of the Valley" track and the Schematic 12". (Sorry, I'm catching up on some old mail.) You're referring to the original version of the EP which has been abandoned. The version that will come out on Warp has (I think) 8 additional tracks, the majority of which are beatless and very electroacoustic sounding.
