They are from Sweden and they rock! ;-) | Are _Get A New Friend EP_ and _At The Royal Albert Hall EP_ actual | physical releases, or just .mp3-only things? Is there anything else by them | that i haven't listed here? Tracks on compilations, remixes, previous | projects, collaborations, etc? As far as I know "The Arne Sand EP" is the only thing that is released "physically". Electromagnetic Beam is a guy from the north of Sweden, a good friend of mine and I would easily consider him the most interesting swedish act at the moment (I'm kind of having a hard time judging Plod as you might understand). His new material is so completely original and cool (the feel is somewhat alike to what Clear did in 94-95 but in a new way) and I would've released it by february or something if the sweden council for cultural affairs only could give me some money. Now they thought that MNW and Virgin was in greater need so it'll probably take a while longer. Releasing records isn't really cost-free. I find it very very strange that noone has released this guy yet. If we find some other label to do it that might work as well, but we haven't as of now.

Those both releases were only available on MP3 for download and on a few CDR copies, no "real" records were produced. The only release is really "The Arne Sand EP". There is also a remix by EMB of the swedish band Heed (EMI) on their single "Alone". We've (Plod) got a remix on there as well. CD5 and 12".
