Just to clarify, Safety Scissors and Sutekh mainly use Max/MSP for live performance. For studio tracks, they use a combination of Logic Audio and various audio processing applications (including MSP) along with real samplers, synthesizers, microphones, and occasionally even guitars (no joke).
