I just discovered a group(maybe it isn't new to any of you!) that is really quite amazing. It's members include Greg Dulli(Afghan Whigs) and Shawn Smith(Brad and Pigeonhed) on vocals as well as various instruments. It also includes Fila Brazillia on, as the website states, various production and instruments. This blend of electro elements and rock(not to mention some of the best/underappreciated, IMO, vocalists around) is pulled off quite well. There is also one additional member by the name of Harold Chichester(I am not familiar with him) who is creditted with vocal duties as well as piano and keyboards. Cool stuff. Check it out. You can check out some of the songs at: http://www.twilight-singers.com/ Rick

Yeah, the album is great! I'm a big fan of Afghan Whigs and Howlin' Maggie (Harold Chichester's band)... of course that's probably b/c I grew up listening to 'em locally in Ohio. Apparently Greg heard some Fila album at Leonardo DiCaprio's house and it went from there... wow, how chic of leo :) They're on big tour now.. i'll be checking the Chicago show next week! -Andrew --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
