Future Beat Alliance is Matthew Puffett, the talented cook from Brighton. Most of his releases came through his own fine Void label since 1994, and his last two releases were through the Italian Archive label, and Russ Gabriel's Ferox. His newest EP finds it way to the world through the Delsin label, presenting four gorgeous tracks, with his typical warm soulful sounds. Cold Feet comes with slow breaks, ambient sounds and deep basses. Free Data goes more towards jazz, meeting up with Ian O'Brien, Kirk Degiorgio and others. Side b hosts two more techno styled tracks, Lo Tech Jazz has a heavy electro styled bass beat combined with his soul strings sounds, where Eon Link 500 is a masterpiece ambient techno track. Some of the greatest stuff he has delivered yet, showing his real broad talents.
