No, no, no. Earplugs?! No, if you ask me, that's just rude. If you want sound quality you might as well stay and home and listen to the cd. ===== --- http://www.peoplesound.com/artist/akabenhatchelt ____________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I wear earplugs now at shows because I have developed a keen ringing in my ears that I don't want to get worse. It is especially bad when I am trying to fall asleep. Too many loud shows will ruin your hearing... If that happens then I won't be able to enjoy music at shows or at home. I won't be able to enjoy music at all! Didn't I hear that one of the members of the Who developed such a hearing loss taht he almost committed sucide? (I just remember hearing this somewhere, could be all lies) On Mon, 16 Oct 2000, [iso-8859-1] Ben Hatchelt wrote:

I believe it was pete townsend. Its happened to a great number of musicians. I really don't think people who where earplugs are pussies or wimps, its just that they valur their hearing. I've tried wearing earplugs at shows but I found it to be somewhat uncomfortable. Now, I typically try to stay a rational distance away from the speakers. I love music too much to let one show blow it for me.
