OVAL SHOW CANCELLED!!!!!!
we are sad to announce we have cancelled the oval show this sunday
october 15th at 7hz in san francisco with kid606 and lesser.
this is not a joke or some kind of publicity stunt and we are
truly saddened by the stupidity of the situation. we were asked
to do the show, we accepted, and it wasn't until recently that
we were told markuss popp would not play with lesser because
he says he does not want to support anyone or share a bill with
anyone who endorses mail order brides and he wanted it to be
known that he is against mail order brides. kid606 would also
like to add that he has absolutely nothing to do with the cancellation
and is sad we had to do it.
please spread the word and accept our apologies.
but don't miss tigerbomb October 22nd at the bottom of the hill
with Cex, Electric company, Blectum from Blechdom, and 2x4 batlle
dj's kid666 and lesser
it's gonna be a big fun party with lots of candy!!!!

well it ain't happening.
markus popp has said he will not play with lesser because of
the problematic cover of "welcome to the american experience".
he thinks i am 'promoting' mail-order brides... which i am not...
and besides, what if i am, why is that wrong? anyway.. moral
high horse. when asked if maybe it was because there was a song
called 'markuss popp can kiss my redneck ass' on said album,
mr popp claimed ignorance. more likely i think i caught him on
two fronts... those cold german nights get lonely... long for
some hot, exotic action, eh markus.
popp saod he wouldn't cancel the show, just that lesser couldn't
play.
we, however, are cancelling the show and putting out a nice press
release.
'fuck that motherfucker' is one possible title.
'maybe that shit will fly in deutchland...' is another possibility.
thanks for listening... i can't tell you how funny i find this
situation.
