I've been ordering pretty heavily from bent crayon for the last few months, and have yet to be disappointed. Occasionally he does have a title listed not in stock, but he is good about letting you know, also i've noticed a far larger stock than many other places (i can't vouch for all of them). He's always been quick and reliable, and i really havn't had a problem with him yet. David use skimo or forced exposure instead. i think bent crayon is kind of on the back burner. emailed an order to him, and then didn't hear anything for days. his catalog is also not up to date. ----- Original Message ----- From: "alland[byallo]" <alland@humbledesign.com> To: "idm.list" <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Thursday, October 12, 2000 1:16 PM Subject: [idm] these writing tools made of colored wax have been exposed to direct sunlight... dammit is bent crayon reliable? any horror stories like they don't want to worry about messed up deliveries, etc? i have a small order (cd's). should i go through them or somebody else? peas. a. What I have found to be true with most stores who are both 'stores' AND websites is that you really need to call them to see what's in stock. jeff

Certainly...same goes for Playing By Ear. Then again, I don't believe either pj or David run regular storefronts. It's been my experience that storefronts who have websites don't update their online catalogs very frequently - or at least, it seems, frequently enough for it to be a good baromter of what they have/can get in stock. jeff component wrote:
