not at all similar to in sides, but i think it's better. one of my favorite albums of all time, in any genre. lots of warm analogue sounds with a solid 4/4 throughout. the rhythms and moods and melodies constantly change and evolve - really a brilliant piece of work. lush into impact is one of the most sublime musical experiences i know. and then there's halcyon, which is simply gorgeous. intelligent dance music in the truest sense. -nub ps. ignore the first and last tracks. :) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

if i like bionaut's "lush life electronica" but find burger/ink's "las vegas" to be a little too stripped-down, what else might i like from jorg burger? i'm thinking of picking up the "frugivore" lp - any comments on this one? also, does anything by john beltram exist on cd? the one album i found online (10 days of blue) seems to be oop or otherwise unavailable. i ask because the track on ambient soho is frickin great. thanks, nub --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

If you can find it, grab it immediately with both hands. From the lush and richly coloured strawberries on the cover, this album delivers all the way. Absolutely gorgeous. Don't be put off by people who might tell you it's dated. Good music remains good. Beltran? Moving Through Here should be around, though it's regarded as his weakest work, but I still rather like it. Try to find Indio, which is a recent Beltran collab.
