I saw a mention of Babyland in the "Cex" thread. I would just like to say that Babyland used to play live here in the SF Bay Area back in (thinking to self) like the mid 90's? I saw them at the Berkeley Square (now defunct venue)... They rocked. They had a Macintosh and shit like that. Do people on the IDM know about Babyland? I thought they were pretty obscure. Also, they came from my home town (Moraga). They sing about Moraga on the song "Ramona Moraga". Scott ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I still have a babyland CD which i listen to frequently. I'd call it something like industrial punk? .. can't describe it. I'm horrible at describing things though, so please excuse me. Although probably not IDM in the sense of the word, babyland is electronic..and quite on the obscure tip. How many people make up babyland? For the longest i thought it might've been one guy. michelle ----- Original Message ----- From: Scott Pactor <scottpactor@yahoo.com> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Tuesday, September 19, 2000 2:42 AM Subject: [idm] Babyland Live...I Seen It...

babyland is two people. i recommend seeing them at least once, though they are hardly idm. odd how one comparison of babyland to one song by cex started a thread :) chris. On Wed, 20 Sep 2000, michelle wrote:
