if you get a chance, i'd recommend checking out the apoptygma berzerk/vnv nation tour that's currently happening in the states. they were in boston last night and they put on one of the best shows i've seen (esp apoptygma). recommended to anyone who still has a pulse. however, there's a few caviats: 1. they're industrial dance, not idm - vnv nation could be compared to an underworld/nitzer ebb collaberation while apoptygma have more synthpop leanings. 2. be prepared to be surrounded by lots of goths/rivetheads. not sure how one prepares for that... 3. you will hear 4 on the floor beats. 3. you will have to dance. this is not a chin-stroking event. oh, welcome to earth by apoptygma berzerk is one of the most enjoyable CDs i've picked up in a long time. maybe those of you who liked LB's pop artificielle would appreciate. ObIDM: i put off buying console's rocket in the pocket for a long time for no good reason. i was proven to be the fool - it's a pretty slick album, but i wish there were more electro tracks. i must find that console vs tocotronic track... ethan _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
