heimelektro ulm newsletter 9/00

hello everybody!
we have been a little bit lazy with our mailouts, sorry ...
the reorganizations of the heimelektro ulm label this summer occupied
all our time.
but the results are definitely worth the time you had to wait.
- heimelektro ulm will start a 2monthly series of clubnights in oktober
- a new label has been founded: DUFTPLATTEN. the first release will be
out in september
- our updated website will be online on our own domain
"heimelektro-ulm.de" in october!
- we found some friends and partners, that offer some of our tracks for
download via internet.
- SCARCUBEM are featured on the best music-radio-shows second
compilation: WHATEC is out NOW in a very special version on BAVARIAN
RUNDFUNK 2 ZUENDFUNK's sampler UNTER UNSEREM HIMMEL 2 (releases by
virgin, yesss our FIRST CONTACT to the world of majors ...)
- we changed our distribution structures completely, the export out of
germany is completely in our hands now, what gives you a realistic
chance to receive our records wordwide now!

1. YAL - yet another label ....
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
yes ... one label is definitely enough!
the name of the first sublabel of heimelektro is DUFTPLATTEN. that means
nice-smelling records, and the name is like it is:
the limited 12'' (500 copies) on DUFTPLATTEN will smell, on vinyls label
a fragrance corresponding to the name of the release will be sprayed on.
DUFTPLATTEN will be something like our "dance" outlet, whatever this
could mean ...
the name of the first release is VANILLA (!!), will be out 25th of
september and will feature SCARCUBEM, ROGER VAN LUNTEREN and THD.
we will keep you updated wilh some further infos about this record
within the next weeks. KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN, its strictly limited and
already is SOLD OUT COMPLETELY, yesss!

2. h.e.u.://populaer.klub ... clubing

and then: the heimelektro ulm clubnight.
we will start our own clubnight-series in oktober. the parties will be
on fridays at the ROXY in ulm, and the (satur)day after at the
ULTRASCHALL in munich. beside of the heimelektro ulm krew some special
friends will come to play, and we try to release a FLEXI-DISC for each
party, and a certain amount of guests will get i for FREE!
the first parties will be 13th oct. ROXY ulm 14th oct. ULTRASCHALL
munich with HERRMANN&KLEINE (CITY CENTER OFFICES, MORR MUSIC) live and
ROGER VAN LUNTEREN and BERND KARNER (both heimelektro ulm) on the decks.
the flexi-disc with 2 exclusive tracks of HERRMANN&KLEINE and ROGER VAN
LUNTEREN is already pressed, and will be released 16th oktober (strictly
limited!!).
the second parties will be 17th/18th november with SCARCUBEM
(heimelektro ulm, decode recordings) and ELECTRIC SHEEP (musik aus
strom) LIVE!

SCARCUBEMS DUPLEX SERIES LABEL ... we are still fighting with technical
problems here, but we have some hope that it will be out next spring ...

4. next generation interweb

finally we made it! we are the owners of our own domain now:
WWW.HEIMELEKRTO-ULM.DE and DUFTPLATTEN.HEIMELEKTRO-ULM.DE. we are
working on an extensive update, and in about 1-2 month, this new site
will be online. you will get LOTS of audio here, 30-50% of each releases
as mp3 or realaudio, much more infos, a strongly advanced mailorder,
lots of links, ....
be patient, we will inform you as soon as it is online!

5. net audio

beside of our website, you can find some audio elsewhere on the web,
too: at FranceMP3 you soon will be able to download the tracks of our
first 3 vinyls. mono-versions are free, and for a little bit of money
you can get a high-resolution-stereo-MP3s. on the WWW.ELEKTRONIK.CO.UK
webzine, you can find EXCLUSIVE UNRELEASED tracks of nearly all of our
artists. GO! some more stuff will be online somewhere else, too, wait
for our next mailouts!
