man i really love the new funkstorung album, i think it's just full of
energy and it's
one of the few 'bleepy' albums that actually makes me want to dance
instead of just
banging my hands again whatever is in front of me. why did it not get
good reviews? and i
think there's a few tracks that still sound like autechre, there's an
obvious
sample/similiy/whatever of/to under BOAC here and there. maybe it's just
me..
however ae sometimes does go crazy with the cheesewiz, and that, i don't
like of'em, it's
like rdj or jenkinson.. they have the eligibility to make beautiful
tracks, but when it's
time to show off their skills they just fucking annoying me... "ooh
look! my music is
so weird, tell me how did i make it, come on, come on!" "oh you all suck
i'm the daddy" "noooo.. i'm the daddy, wow so fast!" (IMO)
it sure is fun.. but the difference between masonna and merzbow (just an
analogy), is
that masonna doesn't show off, he just explodes through noise, while
merzbow is just
fucking around with his crazy toys.
i guess i just liked the funkstorung album alot.. sorry too much coffee
