the beta bodega coalition invaded invisible cities this past weekend with a
woven live performance from hamijama, safety scissors, sony mao, needle, v8,
and jake mandell. rumors suggest that other members of the coalition were
there for support including mil mascaras, atlajala, ruminahui, servo and
others. the show was set up press release style with the bbc's political
agenda displayed through la mano fria's visual propaganda. the music was a
complex mixture of sometimes challenging, sometimes grooving, always
interesting digital textures. a truly interesting performance.
