About a year or two ago, jazz trumpeter Tim Hagen put out an album of him playing with drum and bass backing tracks. I think it was called Animation/Reanimation. I'm curious if anyone's heard it, what they thought of it, and if anyone knows where I could pick up a copy. So far I'm s.o.l. All I remember is reading about it...somewhere...and that it was supposedly panned in the jazz mags (surprise...) thanks, Lukas --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I actually bought the album 2 years ago at the Montreal Jazz fest and i kinda liked it but it's nothing phenomenal. The jazz aspect of it is not bad altough reminiscent of a more upbeat miles davis. The d&b programming is nothing spectacular nor original. I personally wouldn't buy it , it gets boring after 2-3 listens. If you're looking for jazzy jungle/d&b , get Clifford Gilberto "I was young and i needed the money" on ninja tune, this guy is incredible. Sinequanon
