Ok, this may be a little off the whole IDM thing, but I'm gonna ask anyway! The soundtrack to the film Blade-runner...is it any good?! From what I remember of the film, it had these great swirling, industrial sound fx, and I was hoping the soundtrack would be along the same path? Any ideas? I would humbly disagree; I think Vangelis' best work is _Beaubourg_, an eerie, bizarre, experimental-ambient LP from the mid/late 70s (it's available on CD and I often see copies in used-vinyl bins, too). You could play _Beaubourg_ next to the most recent releases on Ritornell/Mille Plateaux and have a hard time distinguishing which is which.
