Lance, do you know who is behind a 12" on Vinyl Solution from 1991(?) called Innovation with one side with a track called "Hypersonic" and two b-sides? Just curious if anyone what other projects this person may have later done...? I just found this record for cheap and would have gone crazy for it 7-8 years ago, but it has aged alright anyway. It has elements of early Terrace/Florence (Stephen Robbers) and some nicely layered breaks... I don't remember the ep you described but I know a group called hypersonic released a track in 1990 called 'dancetones' that I really liked. It's a bleep techno track with a breakbeat and a killer bassline.
