The Audium in SF is amazing, a hilarious time machine back to the 70s
complete with turtleneck-and-medallion wearing host who raps about how the
sounds can "call up dreams and fantasies". It's too bad that some of the
speaker cables connected to his sound board crackle so much- it wrecks the
spatiality to hear em creaking as he sends them signal- but maybe it makes
it a new glitch piece in the process. On this topic, is anyone on this list
informed about whether or not the Osaka dome (immersive mega-multi speaker
Buckminster Fuller dome ) is still in operation and open to the public?
It's like the Audium but bigger and more extensive- I think Stockhausen did
a piece for it.
too bad more people aren't getting the joke in the "my complaint about the
IDM list" post.

is pants-wettingly funny.
