analogies: It's like Serge Gainsbourg, Burt Bacharach, and Kevin Shields
skinning up and making a record with Astrud Gilberto.
There's something so wide screen about this record. When Liz Phair was
pretending she was in a "Galaxie 500 video," the soundtrack sounded
something like this record.
I can see why Warp signed them. Big up Tommy Boy for picking it up
domestic. I got an LFO record on Tommy Boy last month so apparently
there's some history of a relationship with Warp...
