Sometimes I find myself wishing CiM's tracks were longer, too--they're the
kind of songs that I could just space out to if they went on indefinately.
I guess that's what the repeat button on your CD player is for. Doesn't
work quite as well with vinyl, tho.
On the other hand though, there's something to be said for succinctness. If
you can say everything you want to say in a minute and a half, why go on for
6 minutes and repeat yourself 3 times? I'm not suggesting that repetition
doesn't have its place, but sometimes short and sweet is OK too.
