don't remember if it's been mentioned around these parts, but there's a single out for Tipper (dodgy UK pop group, i think) with remixes from Buckfunk 3000 and Phoenicia, and they're both absolutely phenomenal. sick, twisted electro... the Buckfunk 3000 is pretty hard, while the Phoenicia track has subtle, soothing layers buried beneath the beats... really great. (there's a paradinas mix too, but it's not even worthy of discussion, as far as i'm concerned.) i liked all 3 of the mixes, including the m-ziq one. i think the phoenecia mix is the best thing they have done in sometime... i didnt like the original, unmixed song though. my friend daniel liked the original song the best and didnt think much of the other songs. so i guess the moral of the story is: i liked it, you might too! :) or something. single out for Tipper (dodgy UK pop >group, i think) Whoa whoa whoa! You defintely have Tipper confused with shomeone else. Tipper is by no means 'pop'. He is one of the most innovative breakbeat producers out there. His latest album "The Critical Path" is probably the best album Ive heard in a long time. A mesh of nasty breakbeat and electro with symphonic Ae-ish freq sessions. Defintely worth checkin out. There are samples of all his work on my webpage: http://listen.to/nuschoolbreaks goto the BEATS section and click his name.
