TWINE REMINDER: Monday July 17 ULTRASONIQ Day Two: Whir and Drone Ash/Touch and Malignant recording artist from Sweden, formerly of Cold Meat Industry's Morthond * Hazard * Staalplaat/Mego/Sedimental recording artist from Spain * Francisco Lopez * Unit Circle /Knitting Factory/RecRec/Cuneiform artist from Seattle * Amy Denio * with Powder French, * Twine *(Hefty records, Sonic Foundry, Adastra, Zero1Media), and Land 8 pm - 2 am $7 ***How do i get to the MIT?*** The MIT is located in the Millvale Industrial Park, 2100 East Ohio Street (Route 28), and the venue phone number, for the day of the show, is 412-321-MITT (6488). The information line for the MIT is 412-422-8864 (GAB-TUNG). Approaching from anywhere in the East End of Pittsburgh or Downtown, you want to turn onto 40th St from Liberty, Penn or Butler Avenue and cross the 40th St Bridge, then turn left on 28 South, after about 500 feet slow down and turn right into the 2nd main driveway of the Industrial Park. If you're coming from 376 East or West (known to locals as "the Parkway") take the Grant St exit downtown - Grant merges with Liberty at the bus station and continue out on Liberty from there till you turn on 40th, then follow directions above. Approaching from the North Hills, you want to take 28 North to the Millvale exit. Loop around and get back on 28 South, then after passing the 40th St Bridge, turn into the Industrial Park. From Route 8 or points Northeast (Blawnox, New Kensington etc), just get on 28 South and after passing the 40th St Bridge, turn into the Industrial Park. If you're taking a bus, all the "1" lines (1A, 1D, 1F, etc) run past the MIT on Route 28, stopping almost across the highway. Consult the Port Authority bus schedule information for times (412.442.2000) If you're taking a cab, Manny can tell you that it costs *exactly* ten dollars to ride from Squirrel Hill to the MIT. Hope to see you all there, Peace . . .
