Thanks for clearing it up Matt.....well it aint cleared up and I would be inclined to think that it was Simon's brother as you mentioned seeing that it is a UK compilation......I have been wrong many times soooooo, I could very well be again! This may help......in the Copyright column Law and Auder records is listed. Doesnt sound US-ish at all....... The song is entitled "Stack", and yes its Nudge(aka freeform)? Oh Yeah, I better mention Ovni too; a slamming track!.....On lunch, My cousin heard her tune and said, who's tha-heck is that!!!!!!!! -----Original Message----- From: Adam Piontek [mailto:damek@earthling.net] Sent: Tuesday, July 11, 2000 11:39 AM To: IDM; Kelley Hackett; matt@thedesignersrepublic.com Subject: RE: [idm] Freeform Matt is Simon's (Freeform's) brother. As for Raya - Collectivism, I haven't heard of it but I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a track on it. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm not. If there's somebody on it called "Nudge," that would explain the confusion. There is a US duo known as Nudge who claim to have been called Nudge for longer than Simon's been using the alias. I'm neutral as to the whole issue of who has more of a right to call themselves Nudge. At any rate, I like Simon's music better, though the US Nudge is nice too :) The US Nudge also have a couple tracks on a compilation called "Endpoint Compilation 01" and they have a split 12" with if.then.else (i think) For Freeform info, see my fan page at http://www.bigfoot.com/~freeform/ after going to his official page first, of course ;-) ... matt, tell simon i like the two mp3s ... as if he cares :-P are they new? or leftovers from earlier? just curious... -adam On Tue, 11 Jul 2000 11:07:47 -0500, Kelley Hackett wrote:

I don't want to go on too much about it, as it's already been mentioned a couple of times, but since you asked... The Monastery of Sound is an annual event run by Law&Auder records in association with Westbury Music, Ambient Soho, Dragon disc and Worm Interface. It's a festival of electronic music set on the site of a 12th century monastery in Normandy/France. It takes place on 15-17 september and tickets are £70. Lots of great acts, all of which should be of interest to everyone on the list (apache61, plaid, osymyso, spongeboy&tench, casper pound, luke vibert, and loads more). Have a look at www.lawandauder.co.uk for all the details.
