So far, all signs point to a rag-tag bunch of unknowns hoodwinking a bunch of frothy trainspotters into buying tickets to a no-show. one thing that i think everybody should keep in mind is that Warp-net[tm] claims to list ALL the shows that it's artists plan on performing at. There has never been and still isn't a listing for squarepusher playing in seatle... therefore it's not happening... the whole thing is obviously not real. don't you think if squarepusher went all the way to seattle he would at least stop in NY and SF? if it were real i wouldn't be in SF right now, i'd be on my way to washington... other than that, im having a celebration for the existence of Alf at Lucky 13 in SF this saturday at 3:30... free barbque, good music, good/cheap beer. come. oh, and i got the kid606 album, and i like about 3 three tracks out of 17. one is remixed by hrvatski, one is a collab with mike patton, and the other is a beatless minimal track. im not sure what this says about him. -kiya i am a copier. we are not all copiers. ----- Original Message ----- From: <anything@synthesizer.org> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Tuesday, July 11, 2000 2:07 PM Subject: [idm] caveat in store

word up here has it that he is out here recording with earthtribe, hence why he is in the region, and also hence why it isn't part of a tour. i've thrown an email to a fella who works withearthtribe so perhaps that will shed some light. personally could care less, i couldn't be paid to listen to squarepusher. luckly the legandary pink dots are in town to-night so all is not lost.
