Well, if you're looking for some good house music, you should check the following labels : Naked Music : High class vocal house music with a lot of instrument. La classe ! Imperial Dub recording : home of Dubtribe. they released two comps, mixed by Doc Martin and Mark Farina, which are both incredible. Grayhound : another label from SF, label of DJ Garth. Their sound is from instrumental/almost live songs to electronic house. Music for freaks : Luke Solomon's label there's a lot of other labels I like like nuphonic, MAW, versatile, Svek, classic ... the list is long. For house reviews, you can check the house review section of my site. On the tech-house side, I'll recommend Aril Brikha's "Deeparture in Time" on Transmat -- deep, minimal beats. WHAT? Gosh, how different tastes can be! I got this as a spin-off from a friend in a trade, but it's utterly wishy washy useless (IMO!) I wouldn't even call it house.
