Frequency and amplitude ratios tuned by the composer on a Moog Synthesizer utilizing its sine wave oscillators, mixer and low pass filter.
This reel was dispensed with the Letter Edged in Black Press' fourth issue of S.M.S. Magazine in 1968, where
La Monte served as music editor. The journal notoriously
produced limited one-offs and artist objects, often more contraption than literary copy. Obviously the run on this was very low and now impossibly out of print.
The reel is housed in a black box. An exquisite Marian Zazeela drawing on blue transparent wrap around cover.
