I was curious if anyone knows what is best for a computer when you are finished with it at the end of the day? Should you a) turn it off, b) put it to sleep, or c) leave it running 100%? I was told to leave it running but I was wondering if anybody had any definite answers? I think the official word is that either putting it into sleep mode or keeping it turned on is best. It's something to do with the way that sudden temperature changes occur when you turn the machine on. This can damage the chips, so the less you turn it on the better.
