Played it @ 33 and it sounded too slow. Played it @ 45 and it sounds too fast (prolly because I played @ 33 first). I tried both, marginally preferred 33 for some tracks, but I think from hearing the tracks on the radio and elsewhere, that its 45. Suggestion to producers: at some point during mastering, check that the track doesn't sound ace slowed down... they very often do. d. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

The response on this has been a strict 50/50 split. I think what threw me is the fact that the first track DOES sound good (maybe even better) at 331/3. The rest seem best at 45...or that's just me (and at least one other person :-). Dunno. jeff DavidASim@aol.com wrote:

When they've played two tracks from it live, they've been at "45 speed". adam --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
