After the two excellent volumes of Voices In My Lunchbox 12"s, Plug Research return with the Voices In My Lunchbox compilation cd. If you missed out on the previous Voices posts, the Voices In My Lunchbox series of releases are experiments with vocals in techno, house, electro & electronic music. Lance covered _Voices in My Lunchbox_ pretty thoroughly - _Fabulous Shit_ is a mixed disc covering the Lo Recordings backcatalogue. It's an interesting listen, but not engrossing. If you are familiar w/ Lo Recs at all, you know they bounce around between noise, silliness, and some really magic moments. It's a good primer to the label, and at a good price (generally). If you've not heard the name Richard Thomas before, buy it to hear his track alone. And then go buy all his albums ; ) The comp is diverse, and as such it suffers as a whole, but this is also its strength it would seem.
