just got the new metamatics/clatterbox cd on neo ouija and its brilliant.really warm electronics,almost so emotional you feel like crying! got a whole bunch of phonem records from hardwax and this guy is smart.i really rate this guy. also managed to track down the norken ep on delsin. wow what a summer record. does anyone know if phonem has been on any comps or done any remixes? later fsaitek. ____________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I have yet to hear the Metamatics/Clatterbox cd or the Norken on Delsin but I have all the Phonem stuffs and I agree that his stuff is excellent. Regarding Phonem comp & remix appearances, I know of two comp appearances but no remixes. Phonem comp appearances: . Sendertechnik comp LP (ADSR) . Supermarket Music comp cd (City Centre Offices) Phonem has more material coming on City Centre Offices, Vertical Form, Neo Ouija, Morr Music, Pubroc Smalls sometime this year. Phonem will also be having a 12" release on the Rice and Beans (Beta Bodega) label later in the year. And I am also believe he will be part of a forthcoming Beta Bodega European tour. There is also a Phonem track on the 'Cottage Industries' CD that will be releases over the summer. Apparently Dot are not distributed in the UK at the moment, but they are working on a deal as we speak, so they should be making an appearance soon!... they are well worth the wait.

So far... The Dot released "12 are only available in Scandinvia because Dot because of distribution problems (eg not have any foriegn dist. yet) but I think teh UK is ok, they may have the dot in thier face by Sept. (that's just a perdiction). If you like dot, and are in the USA, write matatdor and let them know. They have been playing with the idea of carrying them (as well as thrill jockey).
