The Noise Museum website is at: http://www.zone51.com/noisemuseum/ And their recent Radboun Mens Cli;ck cd and Goem Extensie remix cd are both recommended. -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Roger Rotor is a swiss (prolific) producer. I saw him live last year and it was nice, a kind of Pan Sonic with a more "mechanic" and "dirty" side (hope someone will understand this...) Dither is an horrible Scorn clone, not interesting at all. Apogee is a bit more listenable than the first album, though. His live sets are supported by visuals where you could see his name and the title of his album rotating in space, which is unbearable... A peak of self-centeredness... (This is my point of view) There are really good bands / artists on Noise Museum, you should check Celluloid Mata, Ultra Milkmaids and a few others. Brice.

Don't forget Oil 10! The 2nd album, Blocks, is not so good as the first one (In/Out), but it's OK. In/Out, however, is a masterpiece of minimal mechanical techno. The sounds of machines - carefully patterned textures and noises - somewhere between pan sonic and plastikman. one of the best things i bought this year. the 12" on Hymen is supposed to be stellar too - just picked it up yesterday but I haven't listened to it. --- the humble abbott arthur purvis set his hand hereto --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
