I will second this recommendation. Kompakt in my opinion has been
consistently solid since I heard their first CD compilation a while back.
Since I don't have a turntable, I'm limited to waiting for their CD
compilations to hit... :-(
Schaffelfieber is worth it alone for the tracks by Sensorama (if you liked
their Pluramon remix, this is even better) and the hard industrial buzz of
T.Raumschmiere's "Bolzplatz."
I believe the premise is that all the artists set their drum
machines/sequencers to the tacky prefab setting of "Shuffle" which usually
adds a little swagger and offbeat to otherwise standard loops. So I suppose
really it's a novelty disc, but it still works!
