Japanese pop group. EXCELLENT remixers. Lovely album. Worth it if only for the Ae mix ... which is totally WOW.

Soft Ballet are a pop act who decided to put a techno/ electronic twist on some of their tracks in the same way fellow Japanese producers Nav Katz did. Soft Ballet actually had another remix album that preceded the Remixes For Ordinary People album that you and I have. Twist & Turn, the name of the first Soft Ballet remix album, contains remixes by Polygon Window (AFX), Higher Intelligence Agency, Orbital, Andy Falconer, as well as lesser mixes by EMF, Pop Will Eat Itself, Adamski, and Fluke to name a few. For those who dont know, Soft Ballet's Remixes For Ordinary People album contains remixes from Black Dog, Carl Craig, Global Communications, Plaid, Autechre, Greg Hunter (Orb), and Ian Tregoning. -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

The first album is nowhere near as good as the second, but it's worth it for the Polygon Window mix. Adam --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
