.....my apologies to those who do (on those lists where this is an issue), and my thanks for any advice. I'm going to buy some monitors tomorrow, and I would like some opinions on a good buy for about $600-$800 that can handle the extreme high and low ends which characterize our particular strain of musical delirium. I'm running Logic Plat. and Reaktor on a G3, currently w/o a sound card, just the AV. outs, if that info. is of any importance. If any body has some good advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks much, and again my apologies for the cross post but I want to reach a broad audience on this one. my partner just got a pair of Alesis Monitor One's (powered) for just under $500 and they sound sparkly clean and very tight in the low end. i wish i could trade my event 20/20's for a pair. 20/20's are also very nice though, if you really want the boomy bass. these run a little more 'spensive than the Monitor Ones, but they're bi-amped and self powered. -- String Theory : Digital Music for Humans http://www.enteract.com/~yoshi/index.cgi On Fri, 26 May 2000, Christophe McKeon wrote:
