damn. this record, the Ric Y Martin 12" on perlon, is amazing. the perfect balance of minimal and abstract techno, with just enough progression to keep it completely absorbing. i haven't heard enough records like this lately, i don't why i haven't been buying Perlon records before. so, what else in this style have i been missing? and, yea, brock, i did a web search, so leave the elitist, overzealous, IDM MP responses the fuck out. No elitest shit here... : ) Yes Perlon is an excellent label for those who enjoy abstract punchy tech-house in the vein of herbert, playhouse, etc. The dimbiman 12"s are my favorites on the label. Discography: . Markus Nikolai: Rood 12" (Perlon 01) . Dimbiman: Good Morning Eyeball 12" (Perlon 02) . Hombre Ojo: Manejando Un Carrito 12" (Perlon 03) . Narcotic Syntax: Ultravolta 12" (Perlon 04) . Markus Nikolai: Work Out 12" (Perlon 05) . Dimbiman: Koppchen 12" (Perlon 06) . Ricardo Villalobos: Fussmilch 12" (Perlon 07) . Frank Mueller vs Ricardo Villalobos: Melodrama 12" (Perlon 08) . Pile: Perlipop 12" (Perlon 09) . Superlongevity comp 2x12" (Perlon 10) . Marcus Nikolai: Passion 12" (Perlon 12) . Stephan Laubner/Ric Y Martin: Portside Waves 12" (Perlon 13) . Pantytec: Instant Orient 12" (Perlon 14) . Baby Ford/Zip: Windowshopping 12" (Perlon 15) . Sense Club vs. Villalobos: Tomorrov Cocktail 12" (Perlon 16) . Ric y Martin: Froebel 1792 12" (Perlon 17) Official Perlon website at: http://www.mad-net.de/perlon/perlon.html But not much there aside from flashy animations and e-mail links... -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

you already missed the thread about it. about 3 weeks ago. but a recap: anything with the names: playhouse, kompakt, theorem, swayzak, perlon. better yet: goto www.mad-net.de. home of many of these labels. The THX series on M_nus is amazing. the last one: THX003 with walker vs. theorem is sweet. the previous two (theorem vs. swayzak) are to die for also. -mike np: "bushes" perlon010. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

On top of Playhouse and Perlon, Too much! There's Force Tracks, Raum Muzik, Ware, Melted, Traum, Tobin, Kompakt, Profan, Vertical Form, Salz, Background/ A Touch of Class....There is a silent revolution in the minimal house scene that is only currently noticed by a few but will be realised by many in the not too distant future.

Definitely, I think 002 and 003 are far removed from 001 which had a lot of potential..but which was fulfilled with the following releases.
