carpark unveils its spring line
finally the new carpark releases are available! we are proud to present to you kid606 the soccergirl ep and marumari the wolves hollow.
the soccergirl ep is the second installment in the carpark "sports-FAN" cd series. carpark #006 by kid606 features six tracks highlighting the gentler side of our young californian. the soccerball-shaped cd also comes with a unique felt traycard designed to look like a playing field. reviews so far have made comparisons to eno/cluster/kraftwerk-type electronic ambience. you can read reviews of the soccergirl ep at <

marumari's the wolves hollow also marks the second record for marumari in five months! believe it or not he's already got another record in the can! the wolves hollow complements his previous ballad of the round ball very well. it pursues many of the same ideas on the first record but steps up the production a little and combines some new ideas and elements with the already established "marumari sound." amazing cover painted by marumari's mom as well. the wolves hollow is available on vinyl and compact disc.

sneaky alien video on carparkrecords website
for a limited time, you can watch the first music video ever produced by carpark's own marumari. it is for a british outfit called sneaky alien. we hear it is supposed to air on british television at some point but do not know exactly when. the video features quite a bit of marumari's award-winning computer animation. if you are not familiar with and are interested in seeing some of marumari's visuals, visit his website at <
