I disagree. There is good music and bad music. I'm sure there are a lot of songs I like that are bad music in the overall spectrum of music. A music theory professor at Berkeley might scoff at my Angry Samoans cd for example and be correct in saying that it is amateur, immature, undeveloped music made in somebody's garage. I've tried arguing this with people that are really into experimental music, especially noise 'music', but they always make the same argument, and it's one so irrational that there really is no way to respond to it.

I love how everyone assumes that because somebody has bad manners, they are incapable of using their computer as well as polite people.
quoted 3 lines as for the artists who dread such criticism: take it lightly. most>as for the artists who dread such criticism: take it lightly. most >people don't know the first thing about what you do even if you sell 5 >million copies ~ hell, _especially_ if you sell 5 million copies.
I'm with you on this one. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
