Just a note back on someone's behalf...I believe the person who posted
this was Chris Miller and I know that he's out of internet service for a
few weeks. I'm not privy to all of the details, but I know I've dealt
with Chris NUMEROUS times and he's no idiot and not even close to being
a person who goes off half-cocked. He's got piles of references on IDM,
Ambient, Mother (Atom Heart...he's the listmaster) and is known by many
to be an upstanding guy. In other words, I seriously doubt he would post
that kind of thing unless he's tried a few other avenues and was being
dicked around by the person in question. Speaking of finding out what is
what before you post, you might want to take a bit of your own advice.
The least you could have done is contacted Chris privately before
posting crap like this (a courtesy he afforded your buddy SEVERAL times
before he went public). And it looks to me like you have a few more ccs
in your posting than Chris did. If your friend is so upright and true,
let him rectify the situation he's left undone instead of letting his
compadres talk trash for him.
