I definitely agree with Nick here. Novel23's
latest output "Melodies of Childhood for
Advanced Imagination". Recommended to
those who like intricately laid out melodies,
and electronica that puts you to tears.
I'd also look into Eu's stuff. They've got a
track on the "Artefacts" compilation, as well
as a cdr full-length "Eu_Soft" -- Christmas
Baubles, and these two fellaz (Sasha & Ilya)
also have sizeable chunks of melodic structure's
(not as much as Novel23), while maintaining
that experimental electronic groove throughout.
Check out www.mu.ru.eu for more on Eu.
Fizzarum is still my favorite.. can't quite get
over those drenching clicks and clacks! ; )
Pietro.
np-- Phoenecia "Ae--systems mono version"
.. it would be nice if Ae would somehow go
back to the "Incunabula" sound. Push Button
Objects and Richard Devine have their mixes
nicely tuned: funked up glitchy hip-hop
electronics for your brain, but Ae totally loses
my attention this time around.
