Hi. I just wanted to make everyone aware of this BAD TRADER: PETER KVETKOSKY <crisis909@hotmail.com> PETER KVETKOSKY 37 DOLPHANN TONAWANDA, NY 14150 :Pete.................Crisis909 Crisis--Help--Line--Productions http://www.gabber.org/crisis909 A trade was worked out between us at the very beginning of September, where I would send Peter an actual [store-bought] cd and in return he would make a pair of CDRs for me. He received the cd, but I never got the CDRs. After several lame excuses of why I hadn't gotten his package, Peter finally stopped returning my e-mail around mid-November. I should have known better... it's the typical "it must have gotten lost in the mail" scam. I'm sure this sad routine is all too familiar with those of you who have also been burned: Date: Mon, 27 Sep 1999 17:54:18 EDT

Needless to say, I never did get anything via UPS... and I'm still waiting for that tracking number. Anyway, I *strongly* recommend not trading with this guy. Thank goodness a large majority of people I have dealt with aren't this flakey. macs. .`-). o o.' christopher miller == cefuroxime@yahoo.com ' --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I have done plenty of trades online and this one thing I have learned. There is no excuse. Sending cd's in the mail is so easy it's ridiculous. It's also fairly cheap. You put 'em in a padded envelope, you go down to the post office, you tell them the address you want to send it to, you fill in a green sticker with the contents and value and then you let them do the rest. I have sent cd's all around the world and never once have I encountered a problem with lost mail or any other kind of misshap. Also * IF * it does get lost in the mail it's a piece of cake to make another cdr and send it out. I'm sorry for the trouble you've encountered with this fellow and I know we've all been through this at one point or another but Good Luck in the future..... Shimone p.s. - I am based in San Francisco now but I lived in Israel before and it was just as simple. Christopher Miller wrote:
