i just wanna say, some folks here on the list seem to think that rare 'idm'
records will somehow magically avoid the fate that all rare objects meet.
how will a near mint to mint, incredibly limited & considerably to highly
sought after record maintain its original value? will it work if the folks
who don't have it want it to? i cough up the bux for the shit that rox.
that's how it works. that's how it's always worked. that's how i make it
work. that's how other folks make it work & that's how it's always gonna
work. elvis record, cabbage patch kid, faberg'e, corvette, rembrandt
painting, holographic charizard pokemon card, fonzies' jacket, panda bear,
hitlers' benz, antique ivory statuette, jesse james'
pistol.............boards of canada 12"! get it? join reality. i know it
hurts. deal.
btw, i thought i had only listed out of print stuff for auction, but last
week i was informed[cause instead of mailing me privately, someone decided
to ever so subtlely display my faux pas for everyone on the list....thanx
bucko:)]that the diskono 12" i had listed was still available. i immediately
dropped the price to $10. but if anyone is aware of any of the records i
posted as being available, please let me know, if you don't mind. & i'm not
talking about 1 copy in 1 store that's been sittin there 4ever cuz you &
your crew aleady got your copies & nobody left in town needs it or knows
about it or cares. i'm talking about someplace where you know they're still
stocked in at least a slightly considerable volume, like if you know where
like 5 or more can be found. thanxifyoudo.
bye bye
