I was just wondering if anybody out there knows something about Hive. I, for some bizarre reason, actually found his CD, Working With Sound, and am so amazed by it that i want to find more. The only stuff i've heard other than the downtempo instrumental hiphop that i love is a weird drum and bass. Hello, Someone recently mentioned DJ Scud. I have a song of his that samples the punk band Exploited. I was wondering if anyone knew of idm artists that have sampled punk successfully. It seems that punk samples would be obvious for DH acts, but idm? Not totally IDM, but DJ Hive (? I think that's who it was) sampled a Bad Brains track a couple of years ago. **yep, that's Hive. can't remember the song title offhand, but it's just been rereleased with a dillinja remix on a different label. another hive song is also being rereleased wth a dillinja remix (on a different 12") onm this same new label. andrew duke
