Picked up both these discs yesterday (finally): Super Collider: Head On Remote Viewer: s/t Was pleasantly surprised by how good both were. Two follow up questions: 1) Who is Remote Viewer? Any other releases worth it? 2) Loved the Super Collider, but what else I've heard of Christian Vogel I was kind of sketchy on. Anybody recommend some other good stuff of his that _isn't_ pounding minimalism? I am a fan of the Remote Viewer stuff. As Tomagotchi & tonee pointed out the two guys from Remote Viewer also record as Famous Boyfriend, who also have a cd out on 555, and were previous memebers of Hood. The Remote Viewer releases i have are: . The Remote Viewer: s/t LP (555) . The Remote Viewer: s/t cd (555) . The Remote Viewer: quiet is the new loud LP (555) Plus comp appearances on: . You Gotta Get More Alive comp cd (555) . Little Darla Has A Treat forYou, Vol 13 comp cd (Darla) If you like the cd then i recommend you check their other releases but i believe all the tracks on the first s/t LP are on the cd so you wont be missing any tracks if you skip that one. I'm very excited to hear about the forthcoming Remote Viewer stuff that Tonee mentioned. -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

their 12" Quiet is the New Loud is definitely worth it. not as textured as the lp, but very nice nonetheless, bringing to mind a minimal funkstorung, or something similar. Remote Viewer are Andrew Johnson and Craig Tattersall, they have spent time in more recent incarnations of Hood and also record as Famous Boyfriend (indie pop meets idm?) upcoming schtuff: -12" on Orgasm Records of Paris, France. -A remix of a Third Eye Foundation track, and a Third Eye Foundation remix of the LP. (!) -A split 7" on 555 Recordings with Kid 606. -a remix of Accelera Deck coming soon also.. ://t __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Thousands of Stores.
