Hi I have donated some items to the fundraiser for cognition (http://techno.ca/cognition) and Andrew Duke has asked me to elaborate on them. So here we go: There are two things up for grabs: A. Subscription: You will get the 3 to 5 releases that are planned for release in 2000. They will be delivered to your door as they come out. MMR has also thrown in the December release (neutral - font translation errors) as part of the subscription. You will receive whatever format the release is available in. That is CD or vinyl. B. Prize package: Includes: a. 12 inch record from neutral's label. This is a complilaton of artists from the chromosome57 label. Currently not commerically avalable. Has one neutral track. This track is not exclusive to this compilation but the only way get neutral material on vinyl. b. enter the monkey CD c. neutral - font translation errors CD d. Promotional CDR with tracks from Solenoid, T. Millar, various monkey aliases (and friends), and neutral. This will also come with one extra track not available on any other cdrs (there are 22 others). e. Neutral - font translation errors CD and the promo CDR are housed in a Handmade wooden cage in which a monkey lives. I will have a picture of this sunday. A note on the cage. A few of these cages (there are 23 in total) will be made available for sale by mmr. Each cage comes with the Neutral CD and the promo CDR. However the above cage will be different because the promo CDR included with it will have an extra track the others don't. Finally, all items above are pressed unless otherwise noted as a CDR. if you have questions feel free to ask bid at: http://techno.ca/cognition -daniel: Head Monkey: Mad Monkey Records: http://monkey.eliteware.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I'll go ahead and chime in now with our stuff. Sonic Therapy has a subscription pack up there for whoever wants it. I expect 2 or 3 releases next year if things go as they have been. Most likely the compilation album (which some IDM listmembers have informally committed to) and a Fluoroscopic Kid album. Probably a One Piece album as well. So you get one you might have to give away if ya don't like the "one guy and a guitar thing" (ie Ben Lee or Centro-Matic). I'd like to do some more 12"s next year, but I dunno, it's hard to move them as is when nobody knows who you are yet. However, I might as well come out and announce now that not only will we ship whatever it is straight to your door, but...!!! We will do it very oddly. Anyone who has ever received a promo pack from Sonic Therapy (or ordered direct) can attest that we're only slightly off kilter. But whoever goes in on this and supports a public radio station earns a special place in my heart and will get extra goodies, perhaps even the rumored/fabled/existent if I ever get around to it Sonic Therapy T-shirt. Ooh! And I have a burner now, so I could probably cobble up a CD-R of exclusive and unreleased tidbits. All this because here in the states, deregulation of radio has led to huge media conglomerates who own tons of radio stations, and EVERYTHING SOUNDS the same. So support what you got, okie? And we'll back you up, cause we're nice like that. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
