Sweet record, especially the tracks Rob Mazurek plays cornet on. -d.w. Glad this record came up, as I was also listening to that CD while writing my last self-righteous post (nothing like grad school at Berkeley to make you cranky about gender issues, don't mean to flame there folks), and it is indeed a wonderful release, clinching some kind of Chicago x Berlin = ? equation. The live shows I've seen from Mark have been amazingly restrained yet potent- looking forward to seeing him this summer. Bona fide IDM content: must also praise the "A Murder in the Company of the Vespertine" comp., especially the noise tracks. Bola's track is cool too but it can't top the opening number's distorted musical saw. Can anybody confirm whether or not Coil will be playing as Time Machines at SONAR this year? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
