Some news from the Pitchcadet crew..
the latest release by Novel 23 is highly
recommended electronics w/ a strong
focus on intricate melodies. I've talked
about this one before, and it still hasn't
left the player..

Novel 23 "Melodies of Childhood for Advanced Imagination" CDR $7.00
---(8 tracks from Russian artist Roman Belousov, of nostalgic, melodic
electronic music. Straight-ahead, electronic tunes with excellent melodies
and programming - at times leaning toward electronic musics' past. With
releases on Moscow label Art-Tek, pitchcadet hopes to further Roman's
exposure with his Novel 23 project.) (Novel 23 is a part of Mu, a
musical/arts collective from Russia. visit the website at:www.Mu.Ru) (Novel
23 website: www.novel23.mu.ru)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
yunx "ep number 3" CDR $6.00
---(The yunx guys return with 5 more absolutely brilliant BD/Plaid/Detroit
inspired tracks that only yunx could pull off in such a new and refreshing
way. They are their own style (the yunx style). No need to go into
detail-check this one out!Ck out their new release on Isophlux as well)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kollection(Unreleased pitchcadet tracks 96-99) CDR $7.00
(This one contains 9 tracks never before released anywhere from the likes
of MicroWorld,SONIC FRACTURE, m-tec, and valence. This runs the spectrum
from hip-hop/ambient/experimental/idm......a little bit of everything.
Variety is good, ck it out)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
valence "Music For TransNeptunian Space" CDR $6.00
(This is technically the first collaboration between accelera deck(aka
Chris of aii) and m-tec(Aaron-pitchcadet). This is 5 ambient/experimental
tracks that explore the unstructured and sparse side of electronic music.
Its NOT anything like valence "ohm" project, but both were completed around
the same time. We think people will enjoy this change of pace with our step
into the ambient/experimental direction with these 5 tracks.)

also still available are the following below:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
yunx s/t ep CDR $6.00
---Following their brilliant bill odyssey ep on void records, yunx continue
on from there with this excellent 5 song, ep--Yunx combine a love of
Detroit techno and Warp's Artificial Intelligence series (especially Black
Dog & Plaid). Yunx produce gorgeous works that hearken back to those sounds
of the early 90s without sounding dated or overtly nostalgic--essential
listening! (a line from Greg Clow's review of this cdr).
------------------------------------------------------------------------
m-tec "data-life" CDR $7.00
---The first full length by m-tec available here. A collection of 2 eps
from 1998. m-tec has had some radio play on various eletronic programs -
apparant influences from Boards of Canada and Autechre. Brings back
memories of early era warp material, yet still with his own distinct style.
A strong sense of melody is ever present in this wonderful debut from m-tec.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
valence "ohm" CDR $6.00
---The one that started it all. Early collaboration between m-tec &
accelera deck from 96/97, drawing influences from AE, Aphex Twin, and other
warp releases at that time. A good intro into the pitchcadet sound--good
diversity on this release.
