I hate this thread with such vehemence, being a digest reader these days, that
I have decided to make my own asinine addition in the hopes that this madness
will end once everybody, incl. me, has gone ahead and submitted to the will of
the herd.
These are the CDs I am taking with me on my jaunt to Knoxville to see my old
college pals one more time before I am put on the payroll of the US Govt. and
given a GI mil. spec. haircut.
Savvas Ysatis: Highrise
Various: Aural Offal Waffle Ten Pints Of Bitter And A Bag Of Pork Scratchings
Cylob: Rewind
Mr. Scruff: Keep It Unreal
?-ziq: Royal Astronomy
Plaid: Rest Proof Clockwork
Mat-101: Goodbye Mum!
Hrvatski: Oiseaux 96-98
Faultline: Closer Colder
Various: Warp 10+1,2,3
Clifford Gilberto: I was young and I needed the money
Daft Punk: Homework
Various: True People- The Detroit Techno Album
Slag Boom Van Loon: S/T
Various: We Are Reasonable People
Albrecht Kunze: Testarchiv
Bogdan Raczynski: Samurai Math Beats
Innerzone Orchestra: Programmed
Hive: Working With Sound
Sluts & Strings & 909: Carrera
Boom Boom Satellites: Out Loud
Various: Untouchable Outcaste Beats v.1
Right. Several very good albums I'm not taking along because my friends have
their own copies, like Music Has The Right To Children and all the Orb albums
etc. etc.
These are the CDs I am going to retrieve, forcefully if necessary, while I am
in Knoxville:
Paperclip People: The Secret Tapes Of Dr. Eich
Elecktroids: Elektroworld
Various: Future Sound Of Jazz v.5
Nightmares On Wax: Car Boot Soul
Cassius: 1999
As you can see, it should be quite a party. Or at least there's no excuse for
it not to be.
Glad that's over with
Tom
